Burger King's New Low-Fat Fire-Grilled Savory Mustard Chicken Baguette

New Sandwich Gets Its Flavor From Fire-Grilling, Fresh-Baked Baguette-style Bread and Exotic Spices... Not from Fat

Burger King Corporation today announced the immediate availability of the Fire-Grilled Savory Mustard Chicken Baguette, the second sandwich in the company's new line of great-tasting, low-fat Fire-Grilled Chicken Baguettes. This product line consists of three delicious sandwiches, each with only five grams of fat and 350 calories. The Savory Mustard Chicken Baguette starts with an all-white meat chicken breast fire-grilled to perfection and topped with an exotic mustard sauce, crisp lettuce and juicy tomatoes all on fresh-baked baguette-style bread.

The Fire-Grilled Chicken Baguette line uses premium sauces, exotic spices and fresh-baked bread to naturally create their fresh new flavors without added fat. Along with the Fire-Grilled Savory Mustard Chicken Baguette, these new great-tasting sandwiches include the Fire-Grilled Santa Fe Chicken Baguette -- topped with flavorful fire-grilled red and green peppers, onions and fire-roasted Southwest Sauce -- and the Fire-Grilled Smoky BBQ Chicken Baguette -- with fire-grilled peppers and onions and gourmet BBQ sauce with 12 different herbs and spices. The Fire-Grilled Santa Fe Chicken Baguette and the Fire-Grilled Savory Mustard Chicken Baguette are available in restaurants now. The Fire-Grilled Smoky BBQ Chicken Baguette will be in restaurants October 27, 2003.

Guests can also choose to enjoy their Fire-Grilled Chicken Baguette sandwiches as a new Lite Combo Meal that includes a freshly made garden side salad and 16.9 ounce bottled water or as part of a traditional value meal with medium fries and a medium soda for a suggested price of $4.59. The single sandwich is available for a suggested price of $2.89.
